To download and install the free Scaffold Training Institue Screensaver, follow the simple instructions listed below. These instructions assume the user is using Windows 95 as an Operating System.
Downloading and Installing the Scaffold Screensaver
- You will need WinZip, or some other application capable of unzipping the Scaffold_Cube.zip file. If you do not currently have WinZip, you can download an evaluation copy from the Nico Mak Computing, Inc. website at www.winzip.com.
- If necessary, install WinZip.
- Download Scaffold_Cube.zip.
- Double-click on the Scaffold_Cube.zip file, or open WinZip and under the "File" menu, click on "Open Archive". If you choose the later method, locate the Scaffold_Cube.zip file and click on "Open". Extract the enclosed files (setup.exe & setup.edm) into your c:\temp, or some other directory on your hard drive. Close WinZip.
- Locate and double-click on the "setup.exe" file that was extracted in the previous step, or under the Windows "Start" button, choose "Run" and locate the "setup.exe" file and click "Open".
- Follow the resulting instruction to install the Scaffold
Screensaver on your PC.
Adjusting the Settings on the Scaffold Screensaver
The following instructs the user how to alter the settings for their Scaffold Screensaver.
- Access your computer's "Display Properties" by one of the following methods.
- From the Windows "Start" button, choose "Settings", "Control Panel", "Display".
- Open "My Computer", "Control Panel", "Display".
- Somewhere on your system's Desktop, click your right mouse button to bring up the "Display Properties" dialog box.
- In the "Diaplay Properties" dialog, click on the "Screen Saver" tab.
- Click on the "Settings" button to reveal the "Settings" dialog.
- You may adjust the speed at which the Scaffold Cube rotates and moves about the screen, as well as turn "on" or "off" the sound in the "Settings" dialog.
- When finished, click "OK".
- Click "OK" to close the "Display Properties" dialog.
